I just received my jacket and it shipped within three days. At first, seeing how tightly packed the jacket was, I was skeptical. Especially coming from a Canadian who has insanely cold winters that can hit up to -40+. The jacket seems very warm, there's lot of pockets and it allows for extra layers if needed. I ordered a medium as a 5'9 130-140lbs woman and it fits perfect. It's a tad baggier, which is what I aimed for and it allows me to wear fleece, a sweatshirt or any other type of thermal layer under the jacket. Just a heads up, the vents aren't lined with any mesh, they are just open. I am excited to see how it'll hold up in the winter! Thanks Dope!

On the vents, you're right that they're unlined on this model, so how well they work for you in serious cold will depend on what you're wearing underneath and how you're moving. I bought this jacket for my daughter as a birthday gift. Sheffield absolutely loved it and it looks great on her. I'm sure it will be perfect when she goes on her first skiing holiday next year.
