Coworking Spaces For Surfers And Ocean Lovers | Ridestore Magazine

Swap the pavement for sand and head for the ocean. As technology continues to create a more connected world, the traditional idea that work must include a daily commute to an office and a 9-5 Monday to Friday schedule is replaced by more flexible ideas on professional life. The focus has shifted to improving your work-life balance; flexible working has allowed people in a variety of roles and industries to work remotely, whether for short stretches or more permanently.

The lack of an office to base yourself at can create new challenges and the cliches of desperately trying to find reliable WiFi or attempting to take an important call from a crowded and noisy cafe often ring true, which is where a coworking space can be a valuable tool in providing a productive yet flexible work environment.

work and surf

Coworking can also have benefits both professionally and personally, with the chance to make new connections, network informally and learn from others. Spaces have sprung up worldwide in even the most far-flung locations and can offer everything from a hot desk for the day to longer-term coliving accommodation and workspace, depending on your needs.

If you can work from anywhere in the world, why not the beach? For digital nomads with a passion for surfing, finding a coworking space in a great surf spot will give you a chance to spend less time cramped on the Tube or in a traffic jam and more time doing what you love.

Look no further, as we’ve sought out the best coworking spaces in surf spots that will allow you to catch some waves and achieve your professional goals.
