Hardangervidda provides spectacular nature above the tree limit with a road that leads through mountains, waterfalls and water.
Sogn is known for its beautiful fjords that are surrounded by steep mountain sides. Pow riding here in the winter is one of the best things to do. In summer, hiking to the top of these mountains will take your breath away, much like hiking in the Alps.
Voss is known for its extreme sports festival in the summer. Here you will find rafting, basejumping, skydiving, downhill skateboarding and paragliding. Voss also provides fantastic mountains and hiking opportunities that rank among the best hikes in Europe.
This hidden waterfall in Lier, outside of Drammen might be my favourite place in the entire country. You walk through a small forest before you suddenly find yourself in paradise. You have the opportunity to swim on the bottom of the fall and slide around on top of the waterfall.
