DRY Tech
Durable Water Repellent (DWR)
We equip all our fabrics with the PFC-free ECO Huntsman Zelan R3 DWR treatment. Water beads right off instead of soaking in, meaning improved waterproofing and reduced moisture ingress even in severe weather conditions and deep powder.
Fully Taped Seams
We fully tape our seams to make sure water can't get in. The seams are the weakest point of any garment, so by using a special tape that makes them totally waterproof, you can ride in the deepest powder or the gnarliest storms with confidence.
Sorona Insulation
We use Sorona ECO insulation, which is made partially from renewable, plant-based fibres, and provides warmth-to-weight ratio for true all-day comfort.
Shell Fabric
Our shells are a 2-layer laminated fabric, with a super-tough woven outer, and our own Dope DRYTECH waterproof membrane underneath. A DWR treatment is then applied, providing great waterproofing, breathability, and resistance to wear in all situations (80,000 Martindale score minimum).

The knock to 4 stars is for the pockets - they are not as plentiful or easy to access as on some other jackets I've owned. I wish there was a chest pocket on both sides, and a secure inner pocket for storing smaller valuables (wallet, keys, etc)

My son loves it. The large fits perfectly. We skied-5' thru +40'temps and he was good with minimal layers underneath. Will definitely look at Dope gear in the future. Great value for a ski coat. And it looks Dope!
