From figure skating in Rosenheim to the park scene in Mayrhofen, Max Zimmermann’s path into skiing has always been a little different. By age 10, he was riding park regularly with his sister Lisa, who went on to win X Games and World Cups. For Max, skiing became a lifelong passion rooted in creativity, progression, and the community around it.

Today, Max brings consistency and a genuine love for the sport to every day on snow. From competitions and film projects to bluebird powder sessions with friends, he sees skiing as more than performance – it’s a lifestyle that motivates him to inspire others to get outdoors, challenge themselves, and enjoy the mountains.

Zuza Witych

Zuza Witych

Age: 32
Hometown: Lodz, Poland
Based in: Bielsko-Biala, Poland
Discipline: Freeride Skier

Unlike many pros, Zuza Witych didn’t step into skis until she was 17, starting in freestyle before moving into freeride. Those park skills gave her confidence in the air, which became a strength on the Freeride World Tour. Her proudest moment came in Verbier, where she won with a line that earned the highest score in the history of women’s freeriding.

Zuza joined Montec after friends introduced her to the team, and she values the passion and respect the brand shows its riders. From powder days to challenging conditions, she thrives on proving herself in all terrain. For her, skiing is proof that it’s never too late to follow your passion.

Fabio Studer

Fabio Studer

Age: 39
Hometown: Feldkirch, Austria
Based in: Feldkirch/Koblach, Austria
Discipline: Freeride Skier · Freeride World Tour Podium · Film Athlete

Born in western Austria, Fabio Studer started skiing at two under the guidance of his mom, a ski instructor. His roots in alpine racing and backcountry skiing shaped a career that took him from the Freeride World Tour podium in Chamonix to dream film projects and global adventures. Freeride gave him the creativity to pick his own line, add tricks, and bring style to every descent.

As one of the first Montec athletes, Fabio has been part of the brand’s story from the beginning, bringing the same authenticity to the team as he does to his skiing. Highlights include a goosebump run in Chamonix and deep powder in Japan, while future goals include Alaska and new film projects.

Felix Wiemers

Felix Wiemers

Age: 37
Hometown: Biedenkopf, Germany
Based in: Zillertal, Austria
Discipline: Freeride Skier · Freeride World Tour Podium

Felix Wiemers grew up far from big peaks in central Germany, but with ski instructor parents, every free moment was spent in the Alps. His background in gymnastics influenced his riding, mixing flips and tricks into big mountain lines. That style carried him onto the Freeride World Tour, where he stood on podiums in Fieberbrunn and delivered a proud fourth-place finish in Alaska.

With three years on the Montec team, Felix continues to chase big lines while connecting with riders who share the same passion. He values the friendships and community he’s built along the way, with favorite spots like Norway offering unforgettable freeride terrain and sunsets that last for hours
