The Dope Adept is the ultimate ski jacket in disguise. It has everything you could ever need while riding. The Adept with snow skirt and lycra wrist gaitors got you covered even in the deepest pow. Well almost, if you go head first, we can’t help you there. Sorry. The Adept is insulated with our compact padding, which will keep you warm while keeping the jacket light and flexible. Simply more padding in less space and more lightweight. And if you are riding hard enough to break a sweat, just open up the ventilation to let out some steam in this functional jacket.

Dope DRYTECH Membrane
Dope DRYTECH membrane offers superior waterproofing and breathability through the use of hydrophilic membrane technology. Actively drawing moisture from the skin, the membrane keeps you dry even during intense sessions.

DRY Tech
Durable Water Repellent (DWR)
We equip all our fabrics with the PFC-free Bionic-Finish® ECO DWR treatment. Water beads right off instead of soaking in, meaning improved waterproofing and reduced moisture ingress even in severe weather conditions and deep powder.
Fully Taped Seams
We fully tape our seams to make sure water can't get in. The seams are the weakest point of any garment, so by using a special tape that makes them totally waterproof, you can ride in the deepest powder or the gnarliest storms with confidence.
Sorona Insulation
We use Sorona ECO insulation, which is made partially from renewable, plant-based fibres, and provides warmth-to-weight ratio for true all-day comfort.
Shell Fabric
Our shells are a 2-layer laminated fabric, with a super-tough woven outer, and our own Dope DRYTECH waterproof membrane underneath. A DWR treatment is then applied, providing great waterproofing, breathability, and resistance to wear in all situations (80,000 Martindale score minimum).

Best jacket I have ever own! I’v own many different jackets over the years. This one is by far the most functional. I had Spyder jacket and pants for years. I hesitate ordering this jacket but so glad I did. It is very well made. The multiple pockets are very practical. The lined jacket is not bulky and is very warm. The hoody that fits over the helmet is very practical when it is snowing or very windy. I ordered a large and the size was spot on. The color is as advertised on the website. I am beyond glad I took a leap and purchased this jacket. It is worth every penny!

I love the style of this jacket and it’s perfectly water proof enough for spring skiing. However, it’s not as insulated as I originally thought (but that’s easily fixed by adding another base layer) and you should definitely buy a size up!

Hey Faith, thank you for this review! To stay warm in all conditions, we recommend the principle of multi-layering. On colder days, you can wear a long-sleeved thermal underwear as a base layer and a fleece as a midlayer. You can adjust the thickness of those layers depending on the weather, the intensity of the activity, and your personal preferences to be comfortable.
