And by winning the ”world best ski resort” award 2013 and 2014, it’s a place worth visiting even if you are not interested in one of the best aprés ski in Europe.
With a 700square meter dancefloor, this is where you go impress people with your moves. A magic place that has a great staff, and plays house music and saxophone all day and night long. Val Thorens BONUS – Panda Located right in the center of the village, it is an Apres ski that deliver cold beer, mojito slush and live music every day. And with a big outdoor terrace always packed with people, you know that good times are guaranteed.
With a focus on great artists and Dj’s, some of the bands playing on stage have been Movits, Albin Myers, Save the Dolphins, Henrik B, Frej & Skiöld, Audrio and many, many more.
2. France - Chamonix - CHAMBRE NEUF
Chamonix is famous for its offpist sking, and most famous for the mountains Aguile de midi and Grands motnes. It stood home to the first Olympic winter games in 1924 and is often viewed as the capital of the alps. We dare to claim that it is the most extreme of all European resorts, and with a bar on every street corner, it’s a great place for Apres ski!
Chambre Neuf is one of the liveliest and most popular bars in the village, Situated at the top end of town near the train station, and just along from the Hotel Mercure Chamonix Centre. Chambre Neuf is a prime location for afternoon or evening drinks.
It is a popular meeting spot for alpinists, locals, ”extreme skiers” and plenty of Scandinavians who all share a love talking about their days on the mountain and having fun.
Some of the area’s best live bands regularly get the crowd dancing on the tables early on, with the party atmosphere only intensifying as the evening progresses. Especially when the happy hour begins at 8 pm with 2 for 1 on selected cocktails and shots.
Once the live bands finish, a DJ takes over, keeping the crowd entertained until 1 am.
3. Switzerland - Verbier - Farinet
As one of Europes most famous Ski Resorts, there is no question that Verbier should have one of the best apres skis too.
Farinet is a Carfree, Feel-good party place that’s been voted Best Aprés Ski Bar worldwide 2004 and it still lives up to that standard. With big glass walls, beer on tap and happy hour between 4-5pm there is always a good party on.
The best part about Farinet might be the huge sliding roof that opens up so that you can soak up the sun whilst the party gets started. It is the only Après Ski in town that showcases live bands every day throughout the season, and there is almost always someone dancing on the bar.
